The “Child-Friendly Company” Certificate Is Now a European Trademark 3 June 2026

We are pleased to announce that the “Child-Friendly Company” certificate, developed by the National Network for Children, has now been officially registered as a European trademark.

This marks an important milestone for the initiative and further strengthens the recognition of high standards for supporting working parents and children in the corporate environment.

The certificate recognizes companies that implement family-friendly policies and practices, invest in the well-being of their employees, and contribute to creating a better childhood for every child. Companies are assessed through an independent audit and an expert-led certification process.

The registration of the certificate as a European trademark creates opportunities for the model to be implemented in other countries. The first international step has already been taken: in 2026, the National Network for Children licensed the certificate to the Kosovo Network for Children (KOMF).

We believe that businesses have a vital role to play in building a society where every child can grow up safe, supported, and respected.
