Maria Brestnichka has been part of the National Network for Children team since 2009 and has actively contributed to the Network’s growth from a coalition of 12 organizations into an association of more than 130 organizations working with and for children and families.

Her professional experience is focused on research, evaluation, and the development of systems aimed at ensuring children’s well-being.

She has experience in programme development and organizational development support. As a member of expert juries, she has contributed to the selection and support of corporate social responsibility initiatives such as Call for Europe by UniCredit Bulbank and UniCredit Foundation, You and Lidl for a Better Life, THE CHANGE competition by Reach for Change Foundation and Nova Broadcasting Group, among others.

Maria holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Economics and Sociology.
