Lyubomira Velcheva has extensive experience in human resources and organizational capacity building. From 2013 to 2021, she served as Executive Director of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award – Bulgaria Foundation, where she successfully developed the organization into one of the largest and most sustainable youth personal development programmes in the country.

As part of an internal project of the International Award Foundation, she participated in the audit process of independent Award operators worldwide. She is also a co-founder of 9Academy, a business academy established to build a community of professionals, entrepreneurs, and like-minded individuals. Since 2017, she has been a member of the TEDxSofia team.

Lyubomira holds a degree in Public Administration and has built her professional career in the field of Human Resources. She has more than four years of experience in recruitment, training, employee development, and HR administration within a large international company.
