Throughout her professional and volunteer journey, Dilyana Gyurova has been involved in a variety of organizations, projects, and causes that have helped her gain extensive experience in social work, relationship building, team development and management, process and crisis management, fundraising, network participation, and reputation building.
She has completed a number of valuable training programmes, including Community Organizing in the United States, Social Management programmes in Austria and Romania, as well as the national and regional programmes of the Bulgarian School of Politics. Dilyana also has experience as a trainer, with a particular focus on non-formal education for volunteers, youth work, and related fields.
Her formal education includes studies in Social Activities, as well as Accounting and Control.
Currently, she is developing the St. Methodius the Slavonic Educator Vocational Training Centre on behalf of Liebenau Bulgaria Ltd. and the Association for Social Support Foundation (FSSB). Through this initiative, she aims to introduce and adapt Germany’s extensive experience in dual vocational training for care professionals to the Bulgarian context.
Dilyana believes that through perseverance, hard work, and optimism, we can improve our environment and create better opportunities for ourselves, our children, and the vulnerable groups within our society.
